Taiwanese Energy Resilience

How robust do current policies leave Taiwan’s domestic energy sustainability in the face of potential Chinese blockade scenarios? How can fuel import dependency, strategic reserves, and grid vulnerabilities indicate the capacity to sustain critical functions during disruption?

About this project

This project maps Taiwan’s energy system — import terminals, strategic reserves, generation capacity, and grid topology — against plausible blockade and quarantine scenarios, to assess how long critical functions could be sustained under different levels of disruption.
